We seem to have built a stronger set of relationships with each other which has made us a stronger unit overall. Children are much more supportive of each other and are also beginning to develop more resilience during play.

This kits was super helpful in teaching and solidifying aspects of respect and a range of social skills/behaviours in my children. We enjoyed the stories and especially loved the sticker booklets which were at a perfect age for my class.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? For the majority of children this and personal teaching skills have been helpful with building acceptable relationships. I note that identified students with more complex behaviours it has had little impact.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Students are working collaboratively and with ongoing relationships building occuring. Lockdown was a problem to ensure full application of the ideas.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? We had to follow school lessons on respect as one of our new school values. I think the kit was great for older children.

“I liked that the kit could be used in different ways. It fit in really well with our value of Nurturing Relationships so the language was already quite familiar to our kiddies. The kids enjoyed the Pod Casts and I loved that the kit was cross curriculum. I hope the webpage continues to be available for me to reuse at the beginning of 2021 and in the future?”

Of all the activities, the STEM cards were the most engaging and well received by my year 3/4's. We used these to enhance our group communication while students when jointly creating a single output. They would have been even better if there were a couple

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? I think the benefits of this kit will be felt long into the rest of the year. Its not something that we will move on from straight away but will become engrained into our classroom culture.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Recharge station was a hit. Everyone respected that and would show kindness. Again, it just helped to reiterate the messages they are told in a different lense.
