How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? I have seen students looking out for each other in the playground, and speaking up if someone isn't treated fairly. Student are learning to manage these situations themselves rather than requiring adult help.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Students are happy to work with either gender in pair/small groups, and if there is any teasing about it, someone always speaks up against negative talk.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Our world is a different place to be post-covid and this kit was extremely valuable in assisting with helping my students to be aware of prosocial behaviours, as well as consciously practising them. Thank you so much!

“After COVID, many of the children in my class came back into a social setting after being isolated from their peers. Many had been alone (only children in the family). Many had great difficulty readjusting to others and were very highly with each other. This kit was so timely. I know it is not what it was intended for but it helped so much. The change in how the children treated each other changed dramatically as we went through the activities! There were wonderful resources sent as part of the kit that made it fun and exciting. The charging station was a big hit. Great work School kit- another amazing kit!”

The story map bought up lots of ";oh yeah I've felt like that when..."; conversations. The Tim story was also good for us to look at gender discrimination in the playground. On the bars, in the soccer field, basketball courts.

“We really enjoyed this kit! It was very exciting to unpack it as a class and work through it together. It was very timely to begin it straight after lockdown as I had shifted classrooms and taken on a new role part way through lockdown so working through this kit enabled me to build a strong relationship with my new class and vice versa.”
