How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? They understood that they needed to branch out to other people they normally wouldn't play with and that relationships go above just our friends.

“This kit was really helpful post-lockdown, to remind children in our class of what respectful relationships are, and how to ensure they are treating others kindly. The playlunch project was a hit with some kids, but others found it really challenging to play with and make new friends. Plenty of really valuable class and group discussions using the cards, poster and dice. A great resource for our class, that was very well thought-out. Thank you!!”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? This is an area we are constantly focusing on. The scenarios provided some excellent contexts for class and group discussions.

“This is another fantastic kit from School Kit. The resources as always were brilliant, engaging and relevant (plus also a huge range meaning you could find one age appropriate). The kit allowed us to explore the different types of relationships and what these look like, plus also covering the bigger context of empathy. The class especially liked the class battery and keeping it fully charged! Thanks guys, another EPIC resource!”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? In our class we have a few ‘bossy’ kids. The activities and books taught us all about leadership and being the boss.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The play lunch project was the favourite. My students enjoyed getting to know each other again.

“Thankyou for this wonderful school kit. It was the perfect focus on our return to school in level 2. We enjoyed the play lunch project and the focus on developing new relationships. Ideas for charging our collective (and personal) batteries helped the children develop an awareness around their feelings with positive strategies to manage these both collectively and individually.”

“A great resource. Would be amazing to year at the start of the year when building relationships in the classroom. Due to lockdown, we didn't really get into it until June. Has been beneficial however. Was great to get the children thinking about playing with different children rather than the ones they always gravitate towards. Have had some positive spin offs from this:)”

This kit really reinforced to my students how being respectful to others is, it has what we have been learning during playbased learning. No child is left to sit or play alone unless they state they want to be alone. My class generally get along well but

“My class loved using the lunch project and charge station activity the most. The lunch project helped them to get to know each other besides their close friends. They had a chance to sit and talk, or play during lunch time. I can see that most of them were very excited to swap the stickers. For future, i would like to have more information about the tasks in the kit. For example, which tasks can I work on first and continue on so I can manage to use them all effectively. Great kit with happy faces. Thank you.”
