How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? There was one boy who could hardly speak English and had little contact with other boys in the class. He is now responding and laughing with some of the other children who have accepted him into their groups
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Using the tokens for maths has been good as they are a different way of counting and making patterns. Children have to talk to each other about what sets they are creating and sort out the best way to share the tokens out.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? We have read the stories and used the stickers. every day the children jump on the charging mat to recharge their batteries. Every day we fill in the big battery to show how many good choices we are making.
It took me a we while to get my head around the format but once I did we were away. Kids and I loved having a common language to speak about our feelings. The acknowledgement of others feeling was also huge. A great lesson for this... Or any age!

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Children are more inclusive of others. Thinking about others feelings more often. Able to use breathing exercises etc ( mindfulness) to stay calmer in situations.

The children became much more focused on thinking of others. Many of our friendship issues ( pre kit) were happening at morning tea or lunch. The lunchtime project made children focus
The Kit had lovely resources which were enjoyed by the children while learning to be respectful towards each other. As a teacher I am very grateful to have these resources in order to make a difference my student's learning and development. The resources were both easy to understand and use by the myself as a teacher and by the children.

The children branched out from their regular friends and talked to other children who they wouldn't usually interact with in the playground. They practised this each day and by the end they had almost all exchanged stickers with each other. We practiced a
I really enjoyed the charging station where students could show where they were currently and then use particular strategies to get to the ‘green zone’. The okay lunch project allowed many of my students to mix and play with different students outside their friendship groups at lunchtime. Future recommendations would be to have more activities that students could do as apart of the unit of ‘respect and respectful relationships’. Maybe around students having healthy and respectful relationships with others but also themselves. Engaging activities for that would have been helpful.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Large poster was a great way to start and there was a lot of discussion about how people were feeling and why. The batteries were a hit.
The kit was very good with lots of resources that could be used to supplement lessons. It was very overwhelming at first on knowing where and what to start with. The video links we great and very engaging. They were fantastic conversation starters. My class has become ore aware of each other and now have some understanding that what we may assume someone is feeling, may not be the case. From using the resources, it is lovely to hear children seek to understand how someone is feeling. Especially important after lockdown. I have noticed an increase in children helping and assisting new children that join our classroom. Children are labelling their feelings with more confidence and expressing themselves more effectively.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? The kindness letters really made them think about others. The children enjoyed the play with the sticker sharing - helped them understand good relationships.
In our classroom we used the kit at the start of term 2 as everyone came back from lockdown. It was an awesome asset to work alongside the reminders of the classroom rules and routines we had in place before the long break.

A great kit - Building Relationships is critical . This kit wasn't used as well as it could have been with interruptions with Covid etc.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? The children now play better on the playground and other teachers have also commented how wonderful they are in this. Thank you for helping students thrive and get on well with one another, this sets them up for academic success.

The 'breaking of the bubbles' post lockdown and getting used to company again meant that this kit was significant and bringing the positive aspects of relationships about. it helped to collaborate again.

They show that regulating their own emotions by using the magnet/charger on a daily basis. By positive reinforcement sticker charting to ficus on the positives not just in class, yet in the playground.
Beautiful resources that come with many flexible ways to use these in and out of the classroom.
