How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? I don't think it did really - it was a good start but I've had to use other resources to really improve prosocial behaviors like zones of regulation, solution wheel etc but it was a great extra activity to have.

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? Challenged their ideas of sticking only to one group of friends and being open to making new friends and playing with other children.

How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Less able to use during red setting when we had to stay in year group bubbles and actively told the children not to play with others.

“Fantastic tool for creating and building relationships in a new entrant classroom. Easy for the children to grasp and understand, and worked well to get away from the 'tattle tale' and towards a more positive response. I found the battery and the playground pal books very useful.”

“A fantastic resource for the classroom. The students loved using their playlunch stickers and booklets and made new connections in the class. Some of the resources were hard to work out as they did not come with clear enough instructions such as the story map. Overall it was engaging and aimed at the right level.”

“This came with so many useful elements that we have been able to use in maths and phonics as well as relationships/ emotional regulation lessons. We used the scenario, the mindfulness breathing and the class battery in class. I will introduce 'The Playlunch Project' at the beginning of next year to the Year 1s. My new entrants were a little young for this this year.”

“This kit was tricky to use as I found it difficult to use the different components in a cohesive way. The 'recharge' idea was good but the colours used on the battery didn't align with a previously taught concept around "red and green thinking."The play lunch idea was initially exciting for the children but they quickly lost interest and no-one finished collecting their stickers.”
