How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Children who get angry ( someone took my toy etc) are going to the breathing mat independently to calm down then sort the problem out themselves. I will be keeping the breathing mat in my class

“This is a detailed and comprehensive school kit to build respectful relationships in the classroom. I see this kit being optimised in a middle to senior primary class. I was still able to use elements of this school kit with my Year 0 and 1 learners, however greater teacher scaffolding and teacher-driven discussion is a necessity. Activities can be modified and simplified for use with these especially young learners.”
