How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours?
We discussed them in the first instance when introducing the class battery and have done a range of activities encouraging the children to identify and explore the behaviours over the course of the term. Mostly our children use these behaviours anyway.

It provided a starting point for us to build relationships between the children in two adjacent classes, through a tuakana-teina model. This has been the most significant influence on the development of relationships in the class,

Covid has not been particularly relevant except that there have been lots of children and both teachers absent in the time we have been using it.

We found the kit didn't work particularly well for us. We started out by following and using the plan and resources, but incorporated lots of our own ideas, activities and resources.
