How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is? It has been helpful. It was definitely needed at this time. I don't think I did the kit justice so could have been better.

Students definitely have a better idea of what a respectful relationship is and how we should treat each other. I hear some of the language from the kit being talked about in the classroom.
Loved this resource to explore building respectful relationships with my class of New Entrants!

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? It gave our unsure tamariki a better understanding and a way to transfer it to their play and outside class skill set.
How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is? It has been tricky with COVID, but a great way to learn about boundaries, what we can can cant ask, how close we can be etc.

I have been unable to use my kit to date as I am now coteacing in a different environment and with a different programme to that I was teaching in when I ordered. I am hoping that I can use the kit at a later date. Hopefully, this is ok.

How relevant has this kit been with maintaining/establishing/reestablishing classroom relationships during Covid? We had discussions around the different scenarios on the cards. This really got my students thinking about what the importance of relationships were. The play lunch project encouraged students to include students they would normally exclude or not get
Found it lower level for my Year 3/4 class. Might of been better at the beginning of the year with a younger class. End of the year is incredibly busy and didn't have the time to implement it fully with the time it needed.

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? It has made the class seem 'together' I can see most have built friendships and others are trying hard. It is a good base for our new children that will start this term and hope to continue to strengthen these relationships

They know that showing respect to each other means sharing, listening when others are talking (though hard at times), being a good friend, saying hello each morning and using peoples names, being inclusive when playing games, saying sorry when they do hur
The kids really loved the kindness sticker books and they were really motivated to try that little bit harder to be kind to their classmates. I used the battery by putting individual names on the magnets and they moved it up and down as needed. I'm always really impressed with the te reo that's included in these kids and this was no exception. Your kits are always so bright and inviting and easy to implement. The online notes and ideas to support this was amazing too. So much choice.

How relevant has this kit been with maintaining/establishing/reestablishing classroom relationships during Covid? Amazing. My five year olds absolutely loved learning about how to build and maintain positive relationships.
This was a great kit and easily ran alo side other prosocial skills and self regulati g programs. Chdren really engaged in the activities and they were very keen to participate.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? The battery was a very visual way for students to see how the class was feeling and every time someone moved a token up they would verbalise who had been kind to them and why they were moving the token up.

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? Students really enjoyed the battery and it was really celebrated when we filled up the class battery. It helped some students to talk about their feelings if something had happened for them in the playgound.
How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is? It was good for us as we were still teaching in the classroom. Some students were also able to use it to discuss how Covid had effected them and how they were feeling.

We have used this kit to talk about how we can be kind friends to each other and how to play well together. Spotify songs were helpful

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? We as a class started to find it helped but didn't notice as much as in Term as we didn't get the kit until part way through term 1 so hopefully this will definitely see a better change in the behaviours within the children in Term 2.
