How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? We used the kit alongside developing our understanding and recognition of feelings with Zones of Regulation. It was great for children to see about their batteries and how we need to keep them topped up and how we can do this.

How relevant has this kit been with maintaining/establishing/reestablishing classroom relationships during Covid? Chn already had work on relationships but were getting scratchy over Term 3. So the kit helped us successfully get back on track when working and talking with others.

“The kit was easy to use and understand. Excellent resources were included that the children loved using. I particularly liked the playground sticker activity that encouraged each child to make new friends within the class and be kind to others.”

How relevant has this kit been with maintaining/establishing/reestablishing classroom relationships during Covid? It helped them to understand what a respectful relationship looked like by having them implement it practically and giving them incentives to do so.

“A fabulous and well resourced kit on making friends and creating positive relationships. I really appreciated all the extra material online e.g. short films, related picture books. The class enjoyed stepping into the shoes of others, creating solutions to silly briefs and talking about what makes a good friend.”

How relevant has this kit been with maintaining/establishing/reestablishing classroom relationships during Covid? The children (year 2's) have talked about 'if you want people to be respectful to you then we need to be respectful to them'. This has tied in well with our school HERO values.

“This was a great resource that helped in our classroom and will continue to help our children understand and self regulate their emotions and feelings. Due to the younger age and a large percentage of ESOL children I have had to break the activities down to smaller levels of understanding. Despite that it is a a kit we will use on a regular basis- and will start term 1 with it again.”

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? I found it made our classroom community so much stronger. The students emapthy for each other; not just their friends but every classroom member, just increased and they began looking out for each other.
