How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? This helped broaden our social circles in a very non-confrontational way. We used it in-conjunction with our PE shed so the students had an easy way to create relationships with others.

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? Students loved revisiting their booklets and battery. They picked up the language super quickly and used it in and out of class. It also forced the students to interact outside their friendship groups - we found some longer term change and new friendships

How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Super relevant as with kids being constantly away it forced some kids out of their friendship groups - it also made a point to highlight how we are feeling and our own battery.

How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Super relevant! I had not even a quarter of my class for quite some time so being able to get back and use these has been really helpful. I have seen that the kids are eager to learn and communicate openly.

We focused a lot on what makes a good friend and how others in our class often have hidden talents. We have been able to use the expertise of those who finish quickly to support other students.

“This kit was perfect for the start of the year. Children particulary enjoyed Playlunch Project. Having a sticker booklet was an additional motivation for them to talk and play with all of the children in the class.”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? We have found that children are often struggling to 'play' during break times and by encouraging them to seek out 'new' friends to play with they get exposed to different and friend groups.

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? The class battery was a great visual to see how we were tracking as a class and therefore a great reminder if we needed some more charge.

The kit helped the students navigate the uncertainty and constant change we seem to be experiencing these days due to the after affects (and current affects still) of covid. It has helped build their resilience and focus on being kind.

“This package and topic was so wonderful to develop relationship during the first term. My students loved the Respectful Relationships school map and engaged in meaningful conversations about how to charge the students' batteries. They enjoyed standing on the charging station and moving their token. The Playlunch Project was amazing at building new relationships between students who wouldn't normally play together.
