What an awesome kit! My class loved using this kit. Our school is an Enviroschool so it works perfectly alongside the values that we already follow. It is such an important topic! We were able to have what we did with this kit with the work that we were doing with Mountains to Sea.

The kit was suitable for the purpose of a sea cleanup. However, compared with some of the kits (eg the Histories kit), it didn't have longevity or the ability to reuse the kit.

The children loved taking part in something meaningful to care for our ocean. The provided resources were a big hit - children loved their gloves and the posters provided a lot of discussion. They enjoyed sorting through the rubbish collected and comparing and discussing the results of each group. As a class, we've been learning about Te Moana this term and how to be kaitiaki. This was the perfect ending to our inquiry.

Our Team of five classes had an amazing time walking along some waterways and down to our local beach using the resources from this amazing kit!
