Was there a particular component that struck a chord with your class? Our most used component was the daily check in box. Students were able to have control over when and how they wanted and adult to check in with them which was great.

“This was a great resource and tied in well to our puberty unit. It provided materials that allowed students to not only check in with their emotions, but help them manage them. Many of the materials contained content that started great class discussions.”

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? I will be doing this next year with my new year 6 students as self-esteem is very important at this age.

“I teach Year 6 children and this tied in with our Harold Inquiry. The children enjoyed checking in each week with the forms provided. It was interesting talking about the adults in their lives around social media, how we talk about ourselves. I had said somehting about looking "chunky" as we had just done our school photos and they all said "you don't talk nicely about yourself" so I have made a conscience effort to talk highly about myself at all times.”

“I had higher expectations when ordering the box. I feel as though some of the tasks were a bit random. I like the communication task and how do I learn. However, the parent one was a bit odd.”
