“Great kit. Children are definitely more confident and less responsive to negative feedback from others. They have thought more about how others feel when they make negative comments. I have only been working part time this year and did not complete all aspects of the kit due to time constraints.”

“Students were engaged with most of the activities. Girls more so than the boys. I didn’t complete all the activities as I ran out of time so just selected some that I thought my students would benefit from the most”

“It was such an amazing experience having my class identify their truted role models and the reasoins they chose them. Getting them to ask their parnets for theirs was hugely successful and made my class really think about what a role model/trusted adult looks like.”

Was there a particular component that struck a chord with your class? Our most used component was the daily check in box. Students were able to have control over when and how they wanted and adult to check in with them which was great.

“This was a great resource and tied in well to our puberty unit. It provided materials that allowed students to not only check in with their emotions, but help them manage them. Many of the materials contained content that started great class discussions.”
