Was there a particular component that struck a chord with your class? The Dove videos - but needed to check them first as some of them were very intense.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? It made them think about social media, but it is such an addiction it’s hard to break. I have girls who love tik tok.

“Some of these ideas are great, my year 7 and 8s however didn’t buy into a lot of them. I also have very limited classroom wall space so this was a challenge.”

Was there a particular component that struck a chord with your class? The students were really able to recognise and understand that all of us bring different strengths to different situations. It was great to see them start to be more accepting of this.

“This kit was a great extra and added more in-depth conversations within the class to what we already do. It was great to see the students really thinking about the learning and processing what was being shared. I saw some changes from most students within the class following this kit, changes to varying levels. A really great kit and great conversations had by all students.”

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? We will continue to use this again. The students really enjoyed it. They looked forward to it everyday and asked when are we doing it.

“It was very timely time to do this at the end of the year. The students are tired and less tolerant of each other and take things personally. Great teacher materials help to help check in with the students.”

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? I think the students have more of an idea about stopping and thinking...allowing themselves time before they react.

“Wow, what a great resource. Students loved the letters from parents and their circle of influence. The station is always great and generates excellent discussion. I will use it again next year too (But earlier!)”

“A great resource that enables students to explore and freely learn how to deal with different situations. This kit was a key part of our learning in term 4 for those students who will be leaving our school and how they might fit in next year in a new school. It has also helped our younger students to discuss how change affects them as our new school leaders. Identifying new roles and responsibilities and how we feel about them.”
