“What a brilliant and versatile kit. With a busy term it's been great to build on the kit week by week. The Pick a Path idea has got my students fully engaged. We have also explored Latin names for the animals as well as modern day tag names. 1 week to go! Kia kaha, whaene Helen Duff.”

“A unique topic that I’ve never taught before. My tamariki were engaged from the start, learnt a lot of technical terms along the way. They particularly loves creating a ‘Pick a Path’ for treating their animal. Tamariki felt very successful when they correctly diagnosed their patients”

What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit? Students:Animal lovers really enjoyed it. Not as easy to engage some of my students who didn't have an interest.
“My class enjoyed this unit from School Kit. It allowed for all different typs of thinking and problem solving to happen while allowing for students strengthds to shine through. This was a kit I would re-use in the fuuter for sure. Great graphics and resources as well.”

What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit? Most students enjoyed it. Some loved it as they want to be vets and some because they love animals. They found it interesting as they understand more how vets help them
“I really enjoyed it and so did the students. We enjoyed using technology and hands on activities to learn new concepts and to enhance our understanding. I did get a little confused wuth the plan but navigated it as best as I could”
