This resource helped students understand elimination by using real animal data to rule out incorrect diagnoses. They had to justify their choices, reinforcing logical thinking and evidence-based decision-making. The hands-on vet role-play made data analysis engaging and meaningful.

Yes, this kit gave students insight into the skills vets use, such as data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making. By working through diagnoses and justifying their conclusions, they saw how vets rely on evidence and critical thinking. The hands-on experience made these skills feel real and relevant. As well as linking it to at/per day and our play based area enabled them to roleplay being a vet and practice some of those skills.

What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit?
Students loved the hands-on vet role-play and enjoyed diagnosing and rewriting animal stories. They found the process engaging and felt like real veterinarians. Parents appreciated how it connected to real-world careers and Ag/Pet Day, with some noting their children talked excitedly about what they learned at home. We even had our vet mum come in to to share about her job and experiences!
