How did this resource help students understand process of elimination using data analysis? With teacher (and student teacher) guidance my year 3-4 students were able to work through how to eliminate the different ailments.

What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit? They loved the use of fictional characters as it added some more element of fun to it!
“This was a fun and interactive way to introduce narratives for our writing programme. We then moved onto being vets in teams. The collaboration and excitment was next level. They dressed up and set up vet stations in the class. Every child was engaged as they worked through the processes of diagnosing their animal. We had a huge group of children who want ot be vets or vet nurses, so the hands on expereinces created some deep learniing opporutnites. Again the prompts sent out in the pack and the resources already found online were engaing and helpful. It's always such a pleasure to teach from a Schoolkit - thank you!!”

“Story Vets 24 is a rich resource with plenty of different aspects of learning. The diagnostic process and the actual content of working with animals as vets or vet nurses could cover a whole year. Students love learning about animals.”

“This kit has great ideas. The resouce pack had lots of real life bits that the kids really enjoyed. The amount of information and ideas was a little overwhelming and one of them I couldn't understand even with the instructions. I love the practical stuff but navigating the rest was too time consuming with it being just a part of our learning.”

What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit? They were keen to continue and looking forward to next year (the few who have moved on were not actually aware of the part 2 aspect. I'm disappointed we didn't get there for them, but it was a great start.
“I feel like we really had to rush this one, and that we did not do it justice but, despite this, it was still really engaging. Because we had to cut some of it short and ended up doing a "part one - learning about the process and definitions etc., but did not do the actual diagnosis part, we are able to revisit it next year with a more role based approach (I did not really have time to set up a "surgery" environment etc (due to camp, eotc's, graduation, reports, etc.), and complete the diagnostics (I will most of the same learners next year and we will review to start to help the others catch up first).”
