What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit? The students loved the posters and hands on material. The parents who were vets were happy to see our students learning about vets.
“My class enjoyed the Vets school kit. They were engaged in the content and loved reviewing and exploring the diagnosing process for the animals. We even got a local vet nurse to come in and share their experience. The school kit website had great videos that were entertaining and educational.”

“I used this for Term 1 in table groups. They had an absolute ball learning about the different animals and the tests they used. They loved being able to use them on themselves. We found it covered so many different learning areas as well.”

“I used Story Vets with a class older than the recommended, and therefore didn't use all aspects. However the activities we did use were really interesting and engaging, with great resources provided.”

What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit? Parentes were intrigued by the broad learning their children were recieving. Coming from a farming community, parents loved that learners were asking more questions about the health of the animals and how to care for them.
“"I want to be an animal doctor in real life." was a line I heard multiple times throughout this learning process. It was wonderful to see and hear the learners get really involved in character/role play and take in the information about vets. The line of questioning that followed about the health of animals on their various farms showed me that they took the learning and contextualised it, showing true interest in the topic.”
