How did this resource help students understand process of elimination using data analysis? It helped them to understand it by having situations where they had to use their thinking to analyse the data and eliminate things. The visuals and activities helped with this.

Did this kit increase your students awareness of the skills needed to work in the vet industry? Some what and as we are still working on it I see their awareness growing each and every day. They love pretending working in a 'vet clinic'.

What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit? Parents and staff have come in and gone wow to what is in the room. The students constantly want to role play and be either the vet, owner or animal.
“With out a doubt all the students I work alongside and with have absolutley loved this kit. We have only hit the surface I think as we head into the last week of term 3. We will be setting it up again for part of next term so we can continue it even more. We have begun preperations to visit a real vet clinic and hopefully a animal shelter. The amount of role play, communication, imagination, interaction and social skills being developed has been fantastic. Students who can often struggle alongside others have found ways to bring their voice, understanding, emapathy and positive interactions to light. Love love love this kit!”

How did this resource help students understand process of elimination using data analysis? Even when they didn't know exactly what was wrong they could figure it out by finding out what wasn't wrong.

“Great collaboration and problem solving from this kit. It allowed students to climate symptoms of the different animals with careful research and using all the audio clips and information provided on the QR codes on the poster. We also used an light box to see the xrays clearly. Some of the students knew the corn cob scenario with the dog as they had experienced this with their own dog. Once they had diagnosed one animal they were keen to keep going and work out what was wrong with the others.”
