The kids really enjoyed this unit and sharing when their parents came in to see their projects. There was high engagement and motivation. Parents were really impressed with the ideas the kids had come upwith. The untit ied in nicely to our school inquiry.

I love this kit as it opens the door for so much. The students are able to identify issues that relate to them and their community. It gets them to think of others right from the get go and it hepls them collobarate as a team to organise a day that is benefeficial for all. Having the supporting material is great and we used CANVA to document our own learning journeys, roles of the team and responsibilities of individuals including timelines. Having the role badges were great as a sense of responsibility was given to each student. The wristband that were in previous kits would have been great for the students rather than the tshirt. Downloadable digital templates would have been helpful for the students to collaborate and add to their presentations. EG project cards, the jknockout ladder

The items in the kit were good, but found that they woud have been beneficial for an older year level. I teach NE/Y1 and the students found the concept a bit too big for them to grasp

The kit was really well-resourced. Our committe was not big enough to work through a volunteer project in the term we received it. Instructions of what was inside the box and the order to use them would have been helpful We will look to use the Student -self assessment of skills in 2024 when we decide on a project. At the moment it could be a 'FoodBank Drive" The 'Choose your Project Sheet' is clear and easy to see working. Our issue is school Safety Management Procedures. When we think big, and present to our Leadership team, we have been rejected. We are hoping to get two SVA Ambassadors this term so we can talk them through the resource to lead a project.
