“the predecessor of this model provided years of reliable use until I dropped it onto concrete :(. This model is likely to be similar although feels slightly lighter so may have different internals (pump?). Pressure setting is easier on the updated model (one use so far), pumping capacity was good too. Cable is longer and despite this doubling makes it easier to wind to
store. Now can reach more of the car without rerouting the cable. Storage of the cable always the bind on the old model, weirdly slightly better now. This model discontinued in October 2025 so”

“Bought to replace the pitiful compressor provided with our new car. Only 4 stars because it reaches the set pressure and shuts off, but then the pressure drops a bit. Have to compensate by inflating to 1-2 psi above the required figure . The RTC 1000 we have in our other car doesn't have this problem but it needs a 15amp supply which is too much for our new car.”
“Doesn't inflate to set pressure. Have to set it 2 pounds higher than wanted , initially shows that pressure then drops back 2 pounds below figure set.”
