“I used it for the first time and my impression was of an item which had missed out on good design. The casing was all sharp corners and edges which made it incomfortable at the least.
I proceeded to inflate the tyres. It wasn't perfect for sure but did the job, with assistance from my Michelin Tyre pressure gauge to set accurate pressures.
When I got it out for the second time, it displayed 'funny' letters on the screen and failed to work.
I immediately contacted Ring and arranged to return it for a refund.”
“Very disappointed the digital setting setup seems to be all over the shop don’t think you could trust the pressure settings, very flimsy the best bit was the storage case”
“Item arrived and on unpacking I found the bag the item was in was open, the power cable cable had been doubled wound screwed and kinked, and not wound into the the holder, item was slightly marked on the top. On using the pump it trips out before reaching the set pressure, so have to set it ot a higher pressure but still trips during inflation.
I believe it was probaly a returned item then put back in stock for re-sale. So overall very poor.”
“The RAC635 is a sturday piece of kit the first timeused was to inflate my space saver tyre to 60psi that was done quickly without fus, the 635 with the setable psi works well and stopped when the psi reached its preset psi, connecting to the 12 v DC fits snug does not work out while manovering the inflator from wheel to wheel overall very impresed with the RAC635 Digital tyre inflator.
