“I have bought a couple of “cheap” tyre inflators before and they haven’t lasted 2 minutes. I bought the RING RAC635 because it plugged into (what used to be) the cigarette lighter in the car - rechargeable ones seem like a great idea, but their battery is always flat when you need them. The RAC635 is very robust and well made. The light on it is very powerful and the flashing light would be very useful if you break down in a precarious location. You can set the pressure that you need on the dial and it (very quickly) inflates the tyre to exactly the pressure you set. Overall I feel that this is an excellent product.”

“It pumped up my tyre quickly but it turned out to be a valve problem not a puncture as it soon went back down, but once it was sorted, it was pumped up again and stayed up this time.”
“Pumped the tyres up OK although not that fast, but I guess as it's for home use it will be much slower than a commercial line. Using for first time and it stopped working part way through for no apparent reason. After switching on and off a few times it started to work again. Had only been using it for a few minutes , so not a case of overheating. If this happens next time I use it, I'll have to send it back unfortunately.”
“Does exactly what it says on the box. Unlike a lot of the othe offerings, it has an air bleed valve to release any excess pressure e.g. when the temperature is high and your tyres are a little over pressure, just vent some air and let the pump take it back to your preset pressure.”
“Have previous used Ring products but this model is far better. It has a cable wind . The model I used previously needed the cable folding up and as a consequence, the cable broke.”
