“I have had the opportunity to use this cordless tyre inflator, initially went to switch it on and nothing. Read the instructions as you do making sure I was going by the book and yes. It was only after the forth attempt did it work not entirely satisfied but will continue to use it and see if anymore glitches occur. That's why it a 3 star”
“This is a well constructed inflator that lives up to reports. A big improvement on the RTC 2000 mainly because it wll assist in deflating tyres too, eg. in winter conditions.
A weakness is in the heat generated at the inflator end of the connector to the car tyre, particularly from flat, or nearly flat. Being associated with an Li-ion battery implies a risk of fire, real or imagined, for which these batteries are building a negative reputation.
PLEASE promote the need for safety and/or re-design the unit to avoid such a concern - or perception.
