It is a truly false economy to keep buying cheaper products that are not only potentially toxic but need replacement over and over. “Just the third time of use and still having trouble with food ( bacon and eggs) sticking to the pan. Use more butter than I ever do and increase heat slowly. Wait ages but eggs never “release”, so then have trouble turning them. After each cook I have to scrub the pan with a chain scourer to remove the baked on egg/bacon and I then resets on again with rice bran oil. Honestly don’t know what’s going wrong, but no way does my egg slip around like it’s released from the pan”

I do wish that the box came with an easy-tear strip as I cut my finger on one of the heavy-duty staples when trying to open it. Please consider for future designs.”
“The 20cm Aus-Ion frypan is my first wrought iron pan, And, I’m sure like a lot of new wrought iron users, I was a little nervous about the seasoning process as it was something I had never done before. I simply followed the easy to follow instructions on the SolidTeknics website, and everything went well.
Being a small pan I have cooked a variety of small items – burger patties, sandwich steaks, beef strips for Phillie Cheesesteaks, lamb steaks, bacon, and burrito mince. All turned out great. As I’ve said in other reviews, I’ve never enjoyed cooking; to me it has always been something I’ve had to do rather some something I want to do. However, this pan, along with the other great SolidTeknics cookware I’ve purchased is changing that. I’ve started enjoying cooking, and as a direct result of this little frypan, I am looking to purchase a larger, 26cm Aus-Ion Fry Pan to cook bigger meals in.
If you are looking to get into wrought iron pans, or need a small pan, I highly recommend this 20cm frypan.”
