“We own two Matfer Bourgeat frypans 26 amp 30 cm which came unseasoned They are very good to use however the seasoning process although easy enough was another chore that had to be done
The Solidteknics AusIon 20cm frypan is the latest edition to our cookware and it came preseasoned which was a bonus Other brands should follow Solidteknics lead
Cooking in it after a quick wash was a breeze and performed well straight out of the calico bag I find I use this smaller frypan quite often as there is just the two of us these days and sometimes it is used to cook for just myself it is the perfect size for this The Ausion 20 cm is an excellent frypan it heats evenly on our induction cooktop and cooks food evenly as well The onepiece construction without rivets or a welded handle means cleanup and maintenance is easier than other brands
The curved transition between the flat base and sides makes for easier food flipping Also the absence of a sharply angled transition also prevents carbon buildup in this area which can occur with other frypans
We have three carbon steel frypans and love them all but the 20cm AusIon frypan is my favorite
A big big bonus of owning an AusIon frypan is we will never have to buy another one unlike the flashy gimmicky nonstick pans which have such a short life and end up adding to the landfill Another big big bonus is knowing that an AusIon frypan will never leach harmful products into our food this is so important
The Solidteknics products may not be the least expensive option out there when you just look at the upfront cost but they an investment in cooking excellence and the multigenerational life of the cookware means the TCO Total Cost of Ownership becomes less and less year after year after year
It is also an investment in helping maintain a healthy lifestyle At the end of the day what is your health worth
A final bonus is they are Australiandesigned and manufactured right here in Sydney which I love as I like to support local industry where I can We would not have bought the other brand frypans if we had been aware of the Solidteknics cookware at the time”
“This is my favourite pan I have the 30cm also which is great for cooking meals for our large family But this is perfect for a couple of eggs quickly sauting some greens pancakes etc Supereasy to clean and lightweight I love that I can take these pans from the stovetop to the oven to the campfire And they will be passed down to my children Thank you ST”
“I was looking for an alternative to my coated nonstick stuff and am so glad I found this one I made the effort to add a little stovetop seasoning but Im honestly not sure it was needed I can cook anything in this and it refuses to stick Just be sure to preheat throw in your eggs or whatever then let the pan naturally release So easy”
“I have used cast iron pans for over 40 years and I loved them A couple of years ago i Brought a 20 cm wroughtiron pan for my wife and I It is even better than the cast iron one It is lighter heats up quickly and evenly and so easy to clean up Nothing sticks Might gave yo get the kids one each”
“This is my total go to panin fact I love the size so much I now have two It is perfect for churning out pancakes quickly fries enough eggs for everyone to eat at the same time is amazingly nonstick I let my kids all use it for any foods they are cooking or reheating and it just bounces back Perfect small size pan”
“Bought this little pan as a way to start venturing away from toxic frypans At first was a bit scared of it however with reading info on this site on how to use and the Facebook group Im slowly getting more confident with it and now use it frequently for eggs which was the scariest at first Its really easy to use and clean up and the best part is the taste my food has is beautiful Will slowly be adding more to my collection as i need to”
