“I have had one for several weeks now which I got from the Royal Adelaide Hospital for broken toes on my left foot. It helped my toes heel but has split across the bottom, the sole, in several places because I went on long walks, which is disappointing. However, I ordered a second sandal from you because I did not realize until recently that I had also broken the toes in my right foot. Sandals now seem to be doing the job as far as I can tell. I plan to reinforce the souls with some synthetic material I can cut to shape and attach with super glue if I need them for an extended period. This should, I hope, prevent any splitting on the new one and stop the first one from splitting anymore.
I would recommend this product with the warning not to expect them to be as robust and long lasting as ordinary sandals should be.”
“This brace was too hard against my leg which had been in plaster for six weeks. Therefore it was of no use to me.
Very disappointed and dissatisfied that I was told there is no refund.
An expensive lesson to learn.”
“Unfortunately the boot was so slow in shipping I had to purchase an alternative - the VACOped (which happily proved to be a better choice). Then even though the boot remained at the Post Office unopened Sports Braces would not allow me to return it for refund or credit. A very unhelpful seller.”
“I have a stable fracture of the ankle (tip of malleoli) and I found an normal moonboot to be an overkill and very limiting. So this option sounded perfect.
I am rather petite and although I got a small size, I find that it doesn’t stabilise my ankle properly and I could still roll it if I wasn’t careful. It is very light though so I use it around the house but if I need to walk a fair bit, I use the moonboot at this stage.”
“Looks and feels a great product but sizing is an issue. I measured my leg and came up medium but the product is too large and I have to wear a sleeve underneath to make it fit, otherwise the velcro won't overlap. Disappointed.”
