The Sunfood Differenceâ„¢
Maqui berries are a wild-grown superberry native to Chile and are also known as the Chilean wineberry. Legend has it that the Mapuche people have been consuming maqui berries for centuries. The berries have a rich purple color and taste similar to blackberries. They make anything you blend them with a stunning hue of purple! Now you can enjoy maqui berries in an easy-to-use powder. Our Maqui Berry Powder is freeze-dried to maintain its nutrient integrity.

Way better than acai! Pretty purple color, dissolves better, tastes better! I put a teaspoon in my kombucha to flavor it.

My only dislike is that this doesn't come in a 1 pound size. I use it in my smoothies and what use to be green (because of spinach) is now a beautiful shade of purple. I love the flavor and the rich color. Now I add more nutritious things to my smoothies without adding an unpleasant flavor. I haven't had a "not so tasty" smoothie since I started using the maqui berry powder.

I half fill a mason jar with golden berries, white mulberries, goji berries and elderberries and top it off with distilled water and let it all soak until they are all plump. I usually add a few tablespoons of this mix to my red smoothie, but since I have been adding a tablespoon of maqui berry powder into the water, I can not stop my self from just eating it straight out of the jar. Amazing flavor booster you will find has no equal. And oh, get the 8 oz...cause you'll want more quick.

I mix this in my morning smoothie with Almond Milk, a banana, hemp seeds, and maca powder. I feel so much more energized and can really feel a difference when I have an alternate breakfast. It adds delicious flavor to the smoothie.

I always buy plain whole milk yogurt which can be a bit tart. Maqui powder to the rescue...it tickles my taste buds! Terrific in smoothies too.

We love adding this to our post-workout protein shakes. It adds a great berry flavor with great benefits. Try it with Acai in a smoothie bowl!
