“This Reishi extract in on another Level! I've seriously tried so many Reishi extracts from a handful of different companies in the past few year, but nothing really compares to this quality, potency, flavor and feel here! It dissolves very nicely into warm/hot water (not clumpy) and makes an instant tea that is Just like if you make a fresh Reishi decoction (after boiling the herb for hrs) It somehow retains all the great qualities in this regard! The flavor is actually really quite pleasant on it's own (as long as you don't make it too strong), and not overly bitter either! if you add just a drop of vanilla flavor and honey (or there sweetener) this is really amazing! if you are already used to the earthy flavor of Reishi this will really be a treasure for you, because after some time that Reishi flavor is something your tastebuds really enjoy (almost crave)! The Shen quality is off the charts here, but overall very balanced in the 3 treasures! highly recommend for anyone interested in this divine fungi!!! “I originally bought my Reishi for sleep, as I'm a person that never gets into a deep restorative sleep. I thank years of raising small children and needing to be in a light sleep to be on call through the night haha
so far my journey has been up and down with my sleep. I'm still trying to figure out the dosage that my body loves to give me a wonderful sleep. If I have too much I have strong vivid dreams and I wake up super tired from a full night of dreams. I'll get there, the journey with this Mushy will be life long.
Apart from sleep I have noticed big changes. I'm much more calmer when it comes to situations that used to hair trigger frustrate me, I have much less anxious feelings and I'm VERY in tune to nature. I have always been a nature person but now I find myself being connected to it on a whole new level, particularly wind. “I've been taking reishi for a while, before ever discovering Superfeast. Through a bunch of one on one chats with Mason, I became a huge fan of his mindset, intentions, and principals- both as a human/individual and in a business sense. Not all reishi is created equal... So I first want to say that I love having a 'brand/supplier' that I can purchase a variety of tonic herbs and medicinal mushrooms from without ever having to question the harvesting or growing methods, the quality of the herbs, the extraction methods, the chance of it being unsafe or containing additives or fillers, or the ethics of the business from which I'm buying. As for reishi itself... the benefits are widely known. I find it very calming and stress relieving, and usually take with chamomile, lavender, and valerian tea with a bit of ashwagandha and a drop of honey. That said, it does not provide a sedating effect as a stand-alone herb. Incorporating it simply helps my body naturally manage stress and remain calm, which is exactly my intention when using the mushroom. I drink this tonic while meditating or to warm up and prepare my body for yoga. It is definitely a mushroom I will keep closely woven into my lifestyle and diet for many years, and I hope Mason and Superfeast are there to provide me with the best quality version of Reishi along the way :)”
