We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“After ordering elsewhere, waiting the 6-9 week lead time for it to arrive and the order not being fulfilled, I searched on and found Thread The Word. I placed my order and was ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with the turnaround time!! I think from order to delivery it was only a couple of weeks, I almost cried!! The blanket itself it’s a beautiful quality, it even smelled lovely when we opened it from the parcel and protective calico bag. I am so so so happy with this blanket, now for bub to make his grand entrance so I can wrap him up in it!”

“I ordered a blanket for my Nephew and his wife after the birth of their first child Freddy. Upon receiving it, I received a message from them saying what a gorgeous and personal gift it was, adding that, as it had been cold rainy day they had used the blanket and snuggled under it together.
