Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“The quality of these blankets are just amazing- and I love that it becomes an heirloom piece for my child. When our eldest was gifted one as a present I knew for any more children that would join our family they would be getting one too. The ordering/design process is also very easy and a lot of fun.”

“These blankets are the highest quality! I’ve bought 3 for family far away and had them sent as a gift, and 1 I’ve seen and felt, and oh my goodness, the quality is incredible and my aunt and brothers all commented on the quality. I definitely recommend even to the fussiest buyer!”

“I knew I wanted a personalised blanket for my daughter, after searching online I came across Thread The Word. The hardest part was deciding on the style and colour of our blanket. Once the order was placed, I didn't have to wait long for it to arrive. I wasn't disappointed at all, the quality was exceptional, it was exactly what I pictured.
