“I took the pack on a recent birding vacation. It is very functional, sturdy, and was great in the rain. You can pack a lot of gear in it and it is great as a carryon bag. However, it is too heavy as a light daypack.”

“Es una mochila de tamaño mediano, pero se amplía por debajo para poder meter un par de zapatos/calzado. Tienes posibilidad de usarla como mochila estilo saco o bien abrirla por el lateral como si fuera una maleta, lo cual está muy bien. Material resistente. El color me gusta.”

“I bought this backpack as a birthday present for my husband. He is very picky with this kind of thing so I did a lot of research before deciding to buy the Tropicfeel Shell Backpack. He is very happy with it! He uses it daily for work and finds it very comfortable to wear for the 3 mile walk each way. He’s also used it for a long weekend away and found the extendable option super useful to pack more items inside. Would highly recommend !”

“The backpack is well made and lots of thought went into making it a good looking and functional backpack. The product description is quite accurate. The surprises: (1) the material is super soft to the touch; (2) the Clover Green color is actually more of a soothing, dusty olive and the color blocks aren't as jarring as in the photos; (3) the backpack is heavier than expected, but that may be caused by (4) the shoulder straps are not well padded and don't sit properly on my shoulders (I am used to the Osprey backpack straps that magically make your backpack feel lighter on your shoulders); (5) there are no loose straps here-every strap can be tucked away neatly; and (6) all those pockets! The biggest disappointment I had using the backpack for the first time is that our laptop got crushed (the display had multicolored lines and a third of it did not light up). This was likely caused by a combination of things like the wardrobe being a little rigid, the laptop sleeve being thin, and the padding on the back of the backpack being very rigid. In future, I probably wouldn't pack the wardrobe with the laptop in the backpack.”
