“I received my nood this week. My first impression is - simple , user friendly and class product. I like the packaging and the user manual is very well designed. I started my treatment and so far no issues with my skin as a result if the treatment. I am yet to see how it works for the long term with hair growth.”
“I started my treatment with Nood 10 weeks ago and have done it consistently 2-3 times a week except for one week I was traveling on vacation.
I have fair skin and dark hair. I have done 2 sessions of laser on my lower legs and underarms 20 years ago, and also did additional 2 sessions of electrolysis in my underarms 12 years ago. These treatments have not completely eliminated my hair in these areas, but they have reduced it considerably. I still have hair in other areas and still need to shave every week.
The main reason I bought Nood was to try to get rid of some very thick hairs that started growing on my chin recently (I believe they may be hormone related since I’m in my mid-forties).
I’ve been using Nood on my legs, bikini line, belly, underarms and face.
The device is of a decent quality and feels solid. Occasionally though, it feels like the flash gets weaker though. It’s very easy to use - just two buttons, no-brainer. My skin is not particularly sensitive, so I had no issues or reactions of any sort. It’s painless, but if you zap a long hair, you may feel a little buzz/ burning - not a big deal.
The verdict: it does work! I can definitely see results (especially on my thighs and belly where I never had laser treatments before). The hairs on my belly are virtually gone. The hairs on my legs and bikini line are visibly more sparse and definitely growing slower. I guess now I may go 2 weeks without shaving and still be ok-ish. I don’t know if these will be permanent results, but I do see the difference.
Unfortunately, I have seen absolutely no improvements on my chin. Maybe because the hair is too thick I may need more treatments to start seeing results? Or maybe because facial hair is deeper rooted and IPL might not be strong enough? Or maybe because these may be hormone related they just keep growing regardless?… I don’t know why, but it just did not work in this area at all for me.
I’ll keep using it consistently and will be more than glad to update my review in the future if this changes. For now, all I can say is that it is a legit product and I think it is worth it - just keep in mind it may not work for everyone everywhere…”
“I ordered 2 by accident, and could never get a response when attempting to return one of these. At 200 a pop, they aren't cheap. That was just the first problem.
The first flasher went out after 3 flashes, and the second one after 6 - and I still haven't heard from them to get a refund.......
What a complete rip off!”
