“We had a wonderful time at the property. The view is amazing and the property is exactly as depicted in the pictures. I would recommend this destination to my friends and family. We hope to return next summer. The only problem we had was the washing machine did not work properly. Otherwise, everything was perfect.”

“It was raining off and on most of our stay, but we enjoyed the condo and the resort very much. It was pretty windy, but watching the waves from inside the condo was extremely relaxing(floor to ceiling windows and clear balcony made the view fantastic inside and outside). I would definitely stay at Diamond Beach again, just perhaps a little later in the vacation season.”

“This condo could not be more perfect! Not only did it have a beautiful view but it had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. It was clean, spacious and perfectly located with a view of the ocean. A kitchen was well equipped with all the needed items for any chef! All the beds were very comfortable and clean. The sofa bed had a mattress that was hard to sleep on but otherwise the sofas were very comfortable. The decor was absolutely refreshing and relaxing to the eye. This condo accommodated 7 grown women, all who were very happy to return in the future. I recommend it 100% and will surely be back again!”

We enjoyed the huge pool, hot tub and the lazy river. We also reserved the Cinema room and watched a great movie. On Saturday night we ordered Italian food from Gina's, an Italian restaurant Galveston and they delivered right to our room in a prompt manner.”

“This was our second year in a row to stay at the Diamond Resort, and we absolutely loved 702. We had a few bumps at check-in but after that it was smooth sailing. The patio and view were absolutely stunning. The halls and turns were manageable for my mom who is in a wheel chair. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pans... blender and coffee maker were an additional plus. We cooked breakfast each morning and had a shrimp boil one evening... this year the bar was open which was convenient for the adults in our party, and I know younger children enjoyed the slide. Between the lazy river, multi-tiered pool, large hot tubs, and short walk to the beach it was an absolutely perfect set-up. The beds are a bit hard but not horrible. It was super convenient to wash clothes before packing up and then come home to a clean suitcase. We usually go mid week and leave on Saturday before the crowds on the island get too bad, but the Diamond Resort is at the end of the Seawall which seems to slow down some of the high traffic congestion anyhow. My parents grew up in Galveston and as we enjoy our pilgrimage back to Galveston each summer, we will definitely put DR at the top of our list to return to.”
