“The views and location of this home cannot be beat. Every window has a view of the ocean. It was exactly what we wanted. I love that it isn't right in the heart of all the hustle and bustle but is close enough to be involved in the activities around town. This house made our trip! The location and the awesomeness of the rental company doing our grocery shopping for us and having access to all the extras was perfect. The house could use a few improvements but if we ever find our way back to Galveston this will be where we stay.”

“The go house was beautiful, with gorgeous un-obstructed views of the ocean and was literally steps away from the beach. However, there were ants all over the kitchen. They were in the cabinets and on the counter tops. In addition to the ants there were also cockroaches inside the house which is simply unacceptable. The house is also in need of a new charcoal grill. The one supplied was literally on its last leg and was held together by bailing wire. In addition, the grill was missing the bottom charcoal grate which resulted in only a small portion of the charcoal burning due to a lack of airflow. Again, the house has a great set up, but due to the lack of proper pest control and grilling equipment our stay was less than expected, especially for a house at this price point.”

“The two problems with the home is the floorplan. On two levels you have to walk through a bedroom to get to another bedroom.There is also not a bathroom accessible without going through a bedroom. For a home of this calibur there were no tables, chairs under the house. No toys, beach chairs, umbrellas available to renters. We have been beach house renters a couple of times a year for 10 years, this is not what we are accustomed too. Especially in this price range. Third floor has best view of the beach we have ever had. Could use a restroom up there as you have to troupe down a small spiral staircase to go through another bedroom to get to a bathroom. Having said all the above our family had a fabulous time, next door neighbors were great, even letting us use their driveway.”

“Location of property was great. Property was in excellent condition, and had everything we needed. Check in/out at Ryson Rentals was a breeze. We enjoyed our stay on the beach with our family, and will consider staying at Chateau Soleil again.”
