“Home was just ok! If you need a place to lay your head at night I would recommend this place! I would not recommend this place to spend the day at! Pros: Good location Close to the beach Not far from area attractions Cons: beds were very uncomfortable Air condition was not working properly, thermostat constantly read 84 degrees no matter what temperature it was set at (An associate from ryson did call me and let me know the Ac unit was just repaired and that it maybe hot when we get there) AC did not cool properly the entire stay! AC unit was very loud and constantly kicked on and off all day long! Both bathrooms need renovation! There was mildew in the corners of the master shower (would not come up not matter how much I cleaned)and some rust staining around the toilet of the master! Same rust color stains on the floor of the hall bathroom and their was also hair in the shower of that bathroom as well! We were also greeted by a couple of big cockroaches! If you need a place to lay your head for the night it’s fine, but to vacation at please keep looking! Not worth the money at all!”

“Some pictures didn’t accurately depict the house currently. The outdoor seating cushions were very old dirty and flat. The pillows in the bedrooms were also very flat and used. The drawers in the trundle beds were dirty and had trash in them. The AC ran constantly and never seemed to cool during the day. There were no basic cooking items like salt/pepper or oil. I’ve stayed at other Ryson properties that provided those things. The steak knives were very dull and was difficult to cut meat. Bathrooms were very nice and living area was nicely arranged and comfy. The lockbox was difficult to open and the front door lock was difficult to unlock and lock. We love coming to Galveston and will use Ryson again but will get more details on availability of other rentals.”

“We booked this property for 2 nights during mid-May. We really enjoyed the decor, the size of the house, and its location very much. The bedrooms felt a little bit tight for two families but it would be ideal for one family with lots of little kids as the upstairs mezzanine area was a cool little nook for the kids.”

But disappointed that we were not informed of refrigerator not working properly, one of the commodes would not flush the first night, coffee maker needed to be replaced, master shower & washi g machine were moldy.
