The beach house is a fabulous location. Unfortunately, the house itself and the agency fell short. PLEASE READ CLOSELY ON THE DESCRIPTION, it is exact. The Master bathroom DOES NOT have a shower/tub, only a toilet! The kitchen DOES NOT have a garbage disposal or ice maker. The instructions say you'll receive the access code on the day of arrival, the correct wording should be at 4pm on your arrival day you will receive your access code. I called the number provided for customer service and had to leave a message on Saturday morning, to let them know the Master bathroom toilet tank was taking an hour or so to refill and the guest bathroom toilet tank's zip tie broke (ONLY 2 bathrooms in the house). Also, we could not increase the volume on the TV in the living room. Several dishes were not clean/greasy, and we had to re-wash them prior to using them. Knives were not sharp, no storage containers of any kind. The guest bedroom had a large spider in the bed. On Sunday at 5:35pm (over 24 hours later) I received a text message, stating that my vmail message was not clear, which I seen around 5:45pm, responded back with the details...no response until Monday at 9:06am stating that she reported the issue to the operations department. They will contact you directly. WHICH I WAS NEVER CONTACTED. VERY POOR SERVICE! I AM GOING BACK TO SAND N SEA, which is a great agency they respond quickly to any issues that you have immediately and they provide a few cleaning items as well as a welcoming packet to get you started, houses are very clean! Each of their houses has a binder with places to visit, or restaurants that deliver to that specific location. Guest books to sign. Great board games such as Galvestonopoly!

I wanted to personally thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback, Ellen. Our staff takes great pride in being available to our guests, so I'm disappointed to hear we fell short of the mark. But we'll be sure to review this case internally. And we will also keep this feedback in mind as we continue making updates to our home.

Really enjoyed our stay! House was clean and comfortable. There was some damage as a result of Hurricane Nicholas but wasn't enough to deter us. Owner offered us 10% back on our stay. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the location amd home. The air conditioning was out the entire stay so the first night was miserably hot. After getting another unit, it was more tolerable for the second night. Appreciated the quick responses to our needs

Upon arrival there were dirty dishes in dishwasher, sand all inside the ice trays and sand in the freezer. One Adirondack chair was broken in a pile by trash cans. One Adirondack chair was missing. The third Adirondack chair remained on the balcony but was rusted. It was sat on once while I was holding my infant and it collapsed, the seat completely fell apart, knocking me and the baby to the ground. The porch railing was broken in two places on 2nd story, making it unsafe for my toddler to be on the balcony. (This was temporarily fixed on the 2nd day of our stay). No “trundle bed” - just a double stacked twin mattress instead of a box spring underneath. The mattress would have had to sit on the ground. One TV tray leg totally broken off. On the days that it rained, the driveway flooded, and remained flooded for several days after, so we had to walk through to get to the beach. The master toilet runs. There were small black ants everywhere (in kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, on the inside of the Murphy bed). We booked this house for the porch- the swing and three tall Adirondack chairs. We ended up not being able to enjoy the porch because of the broken/missing chairs. When I talked to Christine from Ryson, she said she would check on the chairs and call me right back. I never heard from her again. The amount of money spent on the rental was definitely not deserved. I will never stay in a Ryson property again, and will be fighting to get a refund for part of my payment since the listing of the house was not what I actually received.
