very nice unit, so far so good. i thought its only water how much better tasting can it be, and it did surprise me, way better tasting then a brita pitcher. Had a professional plumber install as i needed other work done as well. Plumber was impressed to with this tankless unit and took pics as he will be recommending it to other customers as well.

Amazing. Not too difficult to install. Had to get a pillow for the knees/back under the sink. But man, this thing works like a champ. Always clean tasting with TDS consistently around 5 ppm. Very impressed. The flow rate is outstanding! Faster than my refrigerator filter. I don't think I'll be able to convince my family to not have an instant RO. The noise is noticeable but not terrible.

I will never, ever, go back to a tank. I have replaced two reverse osmosis tank systems with WaterDrop active filters. It started by adding one WaterDrop filter at the bar, where we switched to a small-office coffee machine over COVID quarantine that needed a water filter (too many college kids in one house to keep up with a normal coffee maker). It was then that everyone stopped using the kitchen reverse osmosis tank-based water almost entirely and would walk across the house to fill water bottles and cooking pots with the WaterDrop filter head at the bar because there was no reverse osmosis tank to run out. Finally, the boss (my wife), didn't understand why she couldn't fill cooking pots at the kitchen sink because it didn't filter as fast or provide enough water to cook. Instead of servicing the reverse osmosis tank ever again, I have replaced all of our filters with GP3800 systems. Totally worth the wait for the new release.

I like the G3P800 a lot. Although I have to get the plumber to help install it, otherwise this would be excellent.
