“This was my first time using this type of trigger lock. In this case, I tried it on a Glock 43 (Subcompact 9mm). With it unloaded, I tried the fit and all seemed self-explanatory, simple and snug. Fortunately, I also tested it a second time with a live round in the chamber. The first couple of times tugging on the lock (while pointing down range with proper backstop) there was no lock movement, but then the lock spun -- rotating from its original position. Perhaps the lock was a click or two shy of being fulling snug?? At this point I continued to tinker with the lock in the rotated position, and IT WAS ABLE TO FIRE. Please make sure that this is properly fit and snug before letting it out of your reach.”
