Delivery was really good; on time and friendly.
After 1 day, the product (coffee machine) broke down which can happen I understand; disappointing, but not Appliance Direct's fault.
However, what was really disappointing was that the customer helpline refused to either process a replacement or give a refund in full claiming that, as soon as the product leaves them, it comes under the manufacturer's warranty. This is untrue as is clear under the Consumer Act 2015 as I repeatedly pointed out to them.
Oddly, they emailed the manufacturer to fix the machine - they gave them short shrift and said it's their responsibility; quite rightly.
I have now had an email from Appliances Direct confirming my entitlement to a refund. They are picking the machine up in a few days time so let's see how long that refund takes to get to me. I'll be back to report on it.
