Despite delivery truck first breaking down the company redelivered with really good communication. The fridge was cheaper than other competitors and just as good.

I ordered a smoker from Appliances Direct but cancelled the order over the phone the following day. This was accepted and processed and I did receive a refund in a reasonable time. This review is not about what I ordered but about the process of cancelling. On my call, I was redirected to the Philippines where I encountered a small language barrier so at times I didn't understand what was being said. I was told though that the order had been cancelled and a refund would be processed, which it was eventually. After the call, I did not receive any cancellation confirmation email but continued to get emails from the delivery company to arrange a suitable delivery date which didn't convince me that the order had been cancelled successfully, so I called them again the following day. Again, I was redirected to the Philippines and received confirmation that the order was indeed cancelled. I still didn't get a confirmation email but the delivery emails stopped after the second phone call. Overall, a smooth experience but the only direct email I received was for the refund having taken place. A confirmation email of cancellation should have been sent from the outset to give me legal recourse and assurance to the process.

The item works really well. Would have been 5 stars but I arranged delivery for Friday it didn’t arrive until the Saturday.

Arrived safely unfortunately the delivery driver didn't leave me enough time to open the front door so drove off delivery was made next day

Purchased a number of items now - they seem to be my first choice. Delivery on time and the two agents, aware of the very wet conditions, asked beforehand if they could trolly the new W machine in - despite my agreement they carried it instead. Much appreciated. Old machine taken away and new one unpacked and delivered to the utility room as requested. Only one tiny issue - please do not phone me twice regarding an extended warranty!

I cannot fault Appliances Direct. I had purchased a new ceramic hob but it arrived with the glass top smashed into numerous pieces. A quick phone call and they arranged a return. The replacement hob arrived very quickly and in one piece.

This was my third appliance I bought from this company and their service remains impeccable. This time something went not quite right with the item I bought (cosmetic damage on arrival). After getting in touch with them they agreed to a slight reduction in the price so I could keep the item. It took one more phone call as they didn’t get in touch with the 24 hours time they had said they would, but after that the money was in my account the next day. Both people I spoke to on the phone were very professional and helpful. My measure of a company is often when things go wrong and these guys have done well. I will recommend.

I have used appliance direct several times for larger appliances, competitive pricing, good stock and easy to order and collect. I must say in an age where people are quick to complain when i called to collect the dishwasher the chap at reception / collection was very friendly, talkative and helpful. Even helped me into the car with it. It was like collecting something from a friend. A credit to your company.

Thank heavens for Appliances Direct pro-active stance in regard to problems we had with a Hoover Washing machine which had an obvious defect as I was going into an effective black hole when trying to resolve the issue originally via the so called Hoover "customer services" system, who were proving to be exceptionally difficult to deal with and seemed to be more intent on selling me extended warranties instead of resolving the issue. I reported the issues being experienced with the Hoover "system" and Appliances Direct replaced the machine in a timely manner.

Our item arrived slightly damaged but that’s where the negativity ends. I called customer service & within minutes, whilst still on hold, an email with a new order was received. My new machine was with me bright & early the next day. Exceptional service! Would highly recommend this company.
