Had it less than 5 days it broke,I’d taken warranty out with this company also they still made me go through manufacture warranty.avoid avoid

Arrived 2hrs early with no text to let us know. This Double fridge freezer was heavy, the two guys struggled to get it of their van, no equipment (sack barrow or trolly) to bring it in to the house. They left the fridge outside our back gate saying it was too heavy to bring in. This left both myself and wife to struggle to bring it into the house. We had paid to have it delivered into the house but the lazy delivery guys just couldn't be bothered and didn't have the equipment to move heavy appliances.

Sold me a fridge they did not have and then gave me 10 weeks til delivery. Then gave other delivery dates so close that they keep you hoping.4 months later, after numerous stern communications to customer services, it finally arrived. Horrible company to deal with.

I paid for a Saturday delivery and DPD tried to deliver it Friday although I didn't know that so stayed in most of Saturday for no reason. After complaining I was told I would get my item today Sunday 02/11/25, Stayed in all day missed my golf and now without a microwave. at 19:00 I have just received a message "your parcel has been delayed due to an unexpected issue in your area" this means they have only just found out, no they lied and didn't care about the inconvenience. The reason I paid extra for a Saturday delivery is I am not in Monday to Friday

I ordered an air conditioning unit from Appliances Direct and paid extra for next-day delivery. During the checkout process, I was asked to provide my installer’s details, as the product contains refrigerant gas. That’s fair enough — but despite sending my installer’s F-Gas competence certificate, company name, installer name, and postcode three separate times, they continue to claim they haven’t received the information. I’ve provided everything exactly as requested, yet they’ve failed to release the product or deliver it, while still holding on to my money. Communication has been confusing (operatives from abroad) and inconsistent, and there’s been no sign of resolution or accountability. when I purchased, I was given several installation options, including using my own installer or using one of their recommended installers (maybe this could be the difficulty in wanting to use my own?) it’s misleading to allow an option to use your own installer if they’re unable (or unwilling) to process legitimate installer credentials promptly. At this point, I’m left out of pocket with no product and no confidence in their customer service. I would strongly advise anyone considering a purchase to think twice before ordering from Appliances Direct.

Ordered this product and it took 7 weeks to arrive, kept getting postponed even though product was in stock when ordered, no one got in touch to apologise or anything - product seems good but customer service not good!!

We didnt get freezer on day stipulated and we were ready to go with old freezer. But arrow came at correct time and were very pleasant.

Very Good But Use Delivery Firms That Do Not Speak In My Language Very Well (English) Very Good But Use Delivery Firms You Cannot Understand As Their English Is Poor! Very good, got a brillaint deal on a Samsung fridge freezer from Applience City and very happy in that respect however I found their communication to be very poor when it comes to emails I sent as they do not seem to reply? The other thing negative is why do these company's insist on using delivery firms that do not speak in a language you cannot fully understand such as the one's that delivered my appliance. It turns out they use a firm called BJS and you cannot understand their language. On the day of the delivery they called me to say they were on their way, straight away I could not understand their language but okay as long as I got my applience delivered in one piece then fine. Then once the two men had arrived and were bringing in my appliance they were chatting to each other in their own language and all of a sudden one of them turned around to me and said "by the way we are allowed to speak in our own language "(Not English)" to which I replied okay fine but to be quite honest I felt rather intimidated by this and thought it was absolutley rude! If these people are dealing with the general British English speaking public then they should dam well only speak only in English too! For all I knew they could have been saying alsorts of horrible things about me or my house and I wouldn't have been the wiser! Posted again because Applience City decided to flag and remove the previous review and so have forced me to change it as it was apparently racist! Who are you to decided that this is harmful or illegal content, it's facts and freedom of speech and people need to know! By the way my invoice number is optional so I will not be disclosing it!

Totally fraud companh, This was my first and definitely my last order with Appliance Direct. The delivery date showed as Monday, then suddenly disappeared, and I was told the item was now out of stock. When I called, I was transferred to a sales rep named Iqbal, who was unbelievably rude and dismissive. No apology, no help — just attitude. Awful customer service and zero accountability. I’ll never order from them again.

I would give it a zero if that is an option. I asked for a washing machine delivery to a second floor flat with no lift. I already highlight to the customer service team over the phone multiple time for 2 delivery attempts. This is after confirmation with the driver told me that there are driver with the right trolley to do these stairs delivery as well as customers service co firmed over the phone saying the request has been communicated through to the delivery service provider for the right driver with right tool, and yet, I gave it 2 attempts for the delivery and every time, they ended up sending me a driver without those trolley and trying to propose to leave the washing on the street at ground floor where I can "pay someone else to sort out the status delivery". Honestly how difficult it is to get the right person with right tool to do a delivery service, but yet they failed to complete the task again and again. Without mentioning the company cancelled my initial order on another washing machine of my preference without giving me a reason when the product t still shows available on their website after the cancellation. Perhaps this is just a not meant to be purchase with this specific company and yet they have wasted so much of my time and effort where after almost 2 months, I still have not get a new washing installed as I was giving them chance. They successfully disappoint me again and again and I would hold my reservation if I am to order anymore appliances from them in the future. I would like to share this experience to anyone live in the UK in a flat/apparently that is not on the ground floor where lift is not available. Please avoid this company as it is just a waste of your time and effort.

Haven’t even received my item yet Paid for next day delivery for a fridge freezer for it to not turn up! Called through and BEST thing they could do is rebook for TUESDAY that’s 4 days without a fridge! With kids! Called through today as wanting a refund for the next day delivery payment and for some compensation of the food shop I did to go through it all lady said she’ll put me on hold to see what she can do and hung up on me 10 minutes later!

Warning – avoid Appliances Direct at all costs! My order number 54988364. Paid for delivery to the room of my choice. Arrived late in the evening and despite the fact that I paid to install and take the old one away, they refuse to take it to the apartment on the first floor and state they only deliver to the ground floor!!!! They took the machine back despite the fact they know there is venerable people in the apartment. Called the customer service they confirm that they do not deliver unless ground level!! asked me if I like to rebook the delivery? i thought I misunderstood, I said but they will come and say the same that they can not deliver to the first floor!! she replied YES. Bizarre company!!! Never again. Back to AO pleaseee

Failed to deliver in the allocated morning window. Failed to notify us that the delivery was pushed back to the afternoon. Failed to locate the property. Failed to knock on the door. Failed to take my call despite 30 attempts to contact the delivery driver on their mobile. Failed to deliver on the day. They drove off! No communication. No customer service. This left my family without a cooker for the weekend. We waited in all day!!!

Ordered a washer/dryer on 17 September, took a day off on 25 to wait in for delivery only to receive a call at 9.30 to be told that it was cancelled and I’d have to wait another week. Cancelled the order only to be told I’d have to wait up to a week for my money back! Avoid

Delivery was a shambles and then they lost my purchase. Trying to get a refund is a nightmare and excuses are ridiculous. Don’t buy from here again

when delivered was badly damaged.Half of one side stoved in.Crew apologetic.Had to wait a further day for replacement AEG fridge freezer so had to dump a lot of items.Still waiting for some recompense.This is not a cheap item.A.Hulme 25 Ayrton Avenue Blackpool FY42BW.
