Totally fraud companh, This was my first and definitely my last order with Appliance Direct. The delivery date showed as Monday, then suddenly disappeared, and I was told the item was now out of stock. When I called, I was transferred to a sales rep named Iqbal, who was unbelievably rude and dismissive. No apology, no help — just attitude. Awful customer service and zero accountability. I’ll never order from them again.

I would give it a zero if that is an option. I asked for a washing machine delivery to a second floor flat with no lift. I already highlight to the customer service team over the phone multiple time for 2 delivery attempts. This is after confirmation with the driver told me that there are driver with the right trolley to do these stairs delivery as well as customers service co firmed over the phone saying the request has been communicated through to the delivery service provider for the right driver with right tool, and yet, I gave it 2 attempts for the delivery and every time, they ended up sending me a driver without those trolley and trying to propose to leave the washing on the street at ground floor where I can "pay someone else to sort out the status delivery". Honestly how difficult it is to get the right person with right tool to do a delivery service, but yet they failed to complete the task again and again. Without mentioning the company cancelled my initial order on another washing machine of my preference without giving me a reason when the product t still shows available on their website after the cancellation. Perhaps this is just a not meant to be purchase with this specific company and yet they have wasted so much of my time and effort where after almost 2 months, I still have not get a new washing installed as I was giving them chance. They successfully disappoint me again and again and I would hold my reservation if I am to order anymore appliances from them in the future. I would like to share this experience to anyone live in the UK in a flat/apparently that is not on the ground floor where lift is not available. Please avoid this company as it is just a waste of your time and effort.

Haven’t even received my item yet Paid for next day delivery for a fridge freezer for it to not turn up! Called through and BEST thing they could do is rebook for TUESDAY that’s 4 days without a fridge! With kids! Called through today as wanting a refund for the next day delivery payment and for some compensation of the food shop I did to go through it all lady said she’ll put me on hold to see what she can do and hung up on me 10 minutes later!

Warning – avoid Appliances Direct at all costs! My order number 54988364. Paid for delivery to the room of my choice. Arrived late in the evening and despite the fact that I paid to install and take the old one away, they refuse to take it to the apartment on the first floor and state they only deliver to the ground floor!!!! They took the machine back despite the fact they know there is venerable people in the apartment. Called the customer service they confirm that they do not deliver unless ground level!! asked me if I like to rebook the delivery? i thought I misunderstood, I said but they will come and say the same that they can not deliver to the first floor!! she replied YES. Bizarre company!!! Never again. Back to AO pleaseee

Failed to deliver in the allocated morning window. Failed to notify us that the delivery was pushed back to the afternoon. Failed to locate the property. Failed to knock on the door. Failed to take my call despite 30 attempts to contact the delivery driver on their mobile. Failed to deliver on the day. They drove off! No communication. No customer service. This left my family without a cooker for the weekend. We waited in all day!!!

Ordered a washer/dryer on 17 September, took a day off on 25 to wait in for delivery only to receive a call at 9.30 to be told that it was cancelled and I’d have to wait another week. Cancelled the order only to be told I’d have to wait up to a week for my money back! Avoid

Delivery was a shambles and then they lost my purchase. Trying to get a refund is a nightmare and excuses are ridiculous. Don’t buy from here again

when delivered was badly damaged.Half of one side stoved in.Crew apologetic.Had to wait a further day for replacement AEG fridge freezer so had to dump a lot of items.Still waiting for some recompense.This is not a cheap item.A.Hulme 25 Ayrton Avenue Blackpool FY42BW.

I ordered a portable air conditioning unit from this company, on Thursday 14th August and paid for next day delivery as I needed the appliance urgently. I was given a delivery slot of 17.45-1945 the following day. The unit did not arrive and I only got a text message from the delivery company at 21.57 to say it was not coming due to vehicle issues. you would think that if it was not delivered when it was supposed to be, the company would think, ok, lets get this sorted and deliver it the next day. Oh no, the do not do this, they say I will hear from them with a revised delivery. The representative I spoke to said he would contact me later that day with an update, but as expected, nothing.i then called Appliances Direct who were equally unhelpful and only offered a partial refund of the next day delivery charge. We are now Tuesday 19th, and no phone call, email or text message. I have eventually called Appliances direct, to be told that the first available delivery is now Thursday! The woman I spoke to said she could not call the delivery company and request the next day and she could also not sort out a time for delivery. The woman also lied and said that the delivery company had tried to contact me to arrange delivery. I had no missed calls, no emails or text message. Basically they take your money but do not have any intention of providing a good service when things go wrong. When I asked for some form of compensation she relied that I had already received a partial refund of the delivery charge. This is not compensation, this is a refund of the next day charge because they have failed to deliver the next day. Both they and their delivery company employ people that take your call, say sorry and do nothing to rectify the situation. Also the delivery company's wait time for the phone to be answered was 32minutes! As you can imagine I will not be using them again and will definitely not be recommending them.

I ordered a fridge freezer and paid delivery and installation. When the new fridge freezer was installed the person who installled the fridge freezer drilled a hole through my cupboard door. I have since made a complaint but they deny any liability claiming that the hole already existed which is a complete lie and I provided evidence to show that the old fridge freezer was installled in a completely different place. Plus the new fridge freezer showed that piercing through the wood. I will never use this company again. They have completely damaged my property.

Shocking!! - I paid for q dishwasher to be delivered, installed and the old one disconnected and recycled. The status of the order says it's been completed. However, my tenant said the delivery guys turned up and said they couldn't do it. Have I heard anything from the company? No!

Item never turned up on Friday now we are away for a few days - we wasted Fri afternoon waiting in line- yes it’s DPD’s fault I assume but you asked how my overall experience was

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE BE WARNED. I will never use this company again. They dont give you any delivery information before the day. They are supposed to call you 30minutes before arriving and they didn't (I literally had to leave the hospital to rush home and meet them). I paid for installation, which was not done properly. I had to do half of it myself after they left and when I asked for a revisit to complete the installation I was told I had to wait several more days (without an allotted appointment time again). All I asked for was to refund my installation fee after failing to do it correctly, the company refused to refund me. I am now writing a review to warn people of their terrible service.

If I could give minus stars I would. Their delivery driver left the unit outside with my highly distressed cleaner who could not speak English and who was locked out of the house. Because the poor upset woman gave me her name and as the driver (when he called me for the pin) did not tell me it was going to be dumped outside, they are saying it was accepted by her. They left a £200 unit outside my house and it got stolen. But they are saying it is basically not their problem. Disgusting treatment, absolute cowboys.

The delivery was cancelled late minute, resulting in the chilled food order from Tesco not being stored properly as too late to cancel. I chose this product as was promised next day delivery; this is for a children's nursery and it was vital for correct storage of food.

Really poor customer service. Was looking at a quiet model but was not available next day. Found a cheaper model and paid for next day delivery. Never arrived. Decided to cancel the whole order and place a new order with a different company (which turned out to be the same company but under a different name ‘aircon direct’), this order also did not arrive. Ended up asking to cancel both orders. 5 days later order arrived. Had to ask repeatedly for a refund for the duplicate order and could not exchange the unit that arrived (I had used it once to test but it was so noisy). Stuck with it now.
