Very poor service 3 days wasted waiting for a delivery that never came. They booked a slot but never turned up and move it to the next day after 3 days we gave . Asked for a refund and that’s was fine . But poor service. Went out and got it locally

Very quick dispatch and delivery. Would have been five stars but the packaging was not adequate for the weight of the item ( this may of course be the manufacturer's fault ). Rather than being in a box the AC unit was sat on a cardboard tray with a box sleeve over the top. This had separated in transit leading to damage to one of the castor wheels ( but not bad enough for me to cope with the hassle of returning it ). I really expect the manufacturer would have put nylon packing straps top to bottom to secure it, but there was nothing but tape holding it together. This makes me wonder if this box was a return or had previously been opened for some reason? The price I paid was not for a returned item.

Average. I paid for next day delivery which didn't happen. Appliances Direct have shown no interest nor intent to refund the delivery costs.

I paid for next day delivery of a dishwasher and was told it would be delivered between 10.45 and 14.41 and the driver would phone me approx 30mins beforehand. When they did phone on my landline I was unable to answer as I was on a call on my mobile but no message was left. Then the company phoned me a few minutes later but I was still on my mobile call, again no message was left. At 14.30 looked at my email to see if there was a contact number to call to check delivery time and notice an email sent at 12.57 saying "sorry we missed you". I had not left the house and the doorbell was fully working as I'd received other deliveries on the day. I contacted customer services and was told the next delivery date was 4 days later, but they did refund my fee for next day delivery. I contacted the driver who said he'd knocked on the door and rung the bell but obviously I "was not home" so he'd gone on to the next delivery and would not attempt to return to deliver my dishwasher. I dispute the fact that he'd tried to deliver, I was at home all the time. So beware, you have only a max of 2 chances to answer the phone to accept delivery, no attempt is made to call later. Glad to say the dishwasher was finally delivered at 7.20am on the next promised day. It was delivered by the same driver who still insisted he had knocked on the door. Which I'm sure he had not. I had paid for disconnection and removal of the old dishwasher, but the instructions clearly said that I had to disconnect and drain the old one beforehand so what's the point of offering disconnection. The new one was not installed as I wished and I ended up having to reconnect it myself.

Appliances diret were great but I've only given 3* because I didn't receive my item and had to cancel the order. I ordered a BBQ to finish off an outdoor kitchen area we've been building. I only had that weekend available to receive the order and build/finish the kitchen. The rest of the month I'm too busy at work and not in. Ordering with appliances direct was great and really easy. The delivery cost was £30, I needed it for that Saturday so that was fine as long as it arrived. Unfortunately the delivery company they used Arrow XL didn't deliver it. I got a delivery slot of 7-9am, that time went and passed with no communication. I spent the morning on their chat trying to get through to customer service and they sent this reply "We can confirm that the order has been taken off the route for today as there was an issue with the planning of the van and not all of the items were able to fit on," so they just cancelled my delivery on me because it couldn't fit on a van. I'll be honest I've never had that before, pretty pathetic excuse for a £30 delivery fee. I had to cancel the order and I'll buy a new BBQ next time I've got some free time to receive it and set it all up but I'll be trying a different company this time. I wouldn't order from someone who uses arrow XL. Again appliances diret were great with processing the refund and money was returned within a few days, it's a shame the delivery company let them down.

Poor ordered on a Sunday for following Friday delivery as off work. Didn't come Friday dx say they will deliver Monday so got to take a day off work. Phoned appliances direct said they can do nothing.

I was happy that delivery arrived eventually. I was offered and received confirmation of Saturday delivery. This was never the case though as when pallet turned up it was marked up Monday. This was nothing to do with courier. I've worked in a pallet network so have a full understanding of how the system works.

Easy transaction and kept informed of delivery. However the AEG cooker hood has come with a European plug which we will obviously have to change and no instructions manual of how to fit it. This should have been made clear when purchasing it.

Good customer service poor product. Ordered an Electriq dehumidifier. First one leaked all over floor damaging laminate floor. Replacement was really noisy.

Actual purchasing was easy enough but still awaiting delivery of our rather expensive microwave so not sure why we’ve just been prompted to leave a review! Advised last week that the item was being delivered on Thursday but no update re the failed delivery since then. Not sure if AD think this has actually been delivered but I would think that they could track the order like we can and the courier’s website shows it still at their depot.
