Despite the high order value, still got charged for delivery and that was expensive.

Ordering online was quick and easy and no fuss. I was able to arrange delivery two days later, but the delivery guys were very unhelpful when it was hard to take away my old fridge. Also a lady from the company rang to try and sell me a warranty which I didn't think was a great deal

Delivery notification was messed up. Didn’t contact me to notify me of imminent delivery. Office phoned me once it was on my doorstep. Driver should have called me before.

Quick delivery, good value product. 3 stars as the dehumidifier has a annoying sound like its rubbing on something. I will contact the company and see what can be done, will involve returning/exchanging which will take time and effort which I'm not looking forward to.

The experience with Appliaces Direct was all good, but their nominated carrier Arrow XL made a delivery to us of a large heavy box, only 1 young man making the delivery, should have been a 2 man delivery, health and safety issues completely ignored by Arrow CL.

I had requested the that it be delivered by my back door which can not be seen from the road, but it was left by the side of the house in plain view of the public. The dehumidifier seems to work well (run twice so far), it is a little noisy but otherwise good.

Told me it will be delivered on Monday. I made plans for Saturday only to receive a text at 0830 on Saturday morning telling me it was arriving between 0930 and 1030 that day!! This could have caused me problems.

A text received on Sunday 16/7/23 stated thst the appliance would be delivered the following morning and that the driver would contact me 30 minutes before delivery. No such contact was made by the driver, and when he delivered it, I was taking a shower which I would not have done if I had had the 30 minutes of advance notice of delivery. The appliance had to be left outside the house as it was too heavy for the driver to get it inside and my 64 year old wife couldn't help. I am 74 years old and I had to wait for my son to help me manoeuvre it inside. At my age, this was not easy. It would have been helpful if the advance contact had been carried out as per the text message. It would also have been helpful if the delivery had been made by a 2 man team. The packaging has not yet been removed from the appliance as I am waiting for the kitchen fitter to give his availabilty to install it, so at this stage it is impossible to tell if the appliance is undamaged. I reserve the right to report on the condition of the appliance at a later date. Overall, I am extremely disappointed by the lack of communication by Appliances Direct delivery agent and would think twice before ordering another major appliance from this business.

Very happy with the item - and very quick delivery. However I paid for nominated day delivery as it was for a birthday present and it arrived early. It was hard to hide a beer fridge for 2 days - surprise spoilt :(

Quick service in terms of ordering to delivering, however there was no instruction manual, and 2 of the pins that are required to hold the top rack in place were faulty and all bent out of shape so can’t be used. Not ideal when you are hosting a bbq the next day.

Good product, good price, but the collection experience was rubbish. On ordering I was told it would be available on 15th, I didn't get an email on 15th so I chased up and was told it would actually be ready on 16th. By the 17th I still hadn't had an email so I contacted customer services who apologised for inconvenience and said it wouldn't be available until 20th. Then half an hour later I received an email saying ready to collect now. Seems a bit disorganised

My main gripe is I selected a date for delivery which was completely ignored and product delivered week early. What’s the point of having date selection. Product arrived, works well.

Everything was fine with the delivery and the drivers were great. However, Appliances Direct charged me £30 for disconnection and installation of a fridge freezer, which was unplugged by us and plugged in by us. This is a rip off by the company, so very disappointing.

I was disappointed that initially when I purchased the appliance they falsely portrayed that they had stock and hence the delivery date was set accordingly. Only after I purchased the appliance did they set the delivery date to 11 days later than first, dishonest. To be fair though they delivered 5 days earlier than later date but still 7 days later than set at purchase.

I booked & paid a premium for Saturday delivery, only to get a message on Monday to say my delivery was arriving next day ?? Tried to reschedule to Saturday but wasn't an option, so opted for Friday. On the Tuesday morning, got a message to say my delivery was arriving that same day - Tuesday !! - Turns out my order had been split in to 2 delivery slots for some reason. After some time spent on the phone, managed to get both items arranged to be delivered on the Friday. Why offer a choice to select a delivery date & time and then just ignore it ? Very annoying.
