“I am very happy with the air conditioning unit. Although it is excessively expensive and at least double the price of other air conditioning units, I guess I'm paying for style because it's black, but it does look very nice and goes lovely with my decor. I think I'd hate looking at an ugly white plastic one. It is workign marvellously. Easy instructions and set up. Very happy it came with a window kit and that it fits my window. The product information on the website was very clear. The communication with yhe seller was very good, regular, informative and prompt. Only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because it said the product was in stock on the website, which was my main reason for ordering. Seemed the entire country had sold out. I had searched everywhere for weeks and Appliances Direct were the only company who had any in stock and could deliver within a week, so i was happy to pay a higher price and £15 delivery fees for style and convenience. Supply and demand and all that. Just in time for the next heatwave, or so it seemed! After ordering, I was promptly advised the delivery date of the following Tuesday. On Monday I recieved an email that the delivery date had been changed and given an apology. A problem at the warehouse was the reason given. The new delivery date was approaching when I recieved another email advising the delivery date was changed due to a problem at the warehouse. Another apology and £10 credit, which i assumed was partial delivery fee refund. Again, another cancelled delivery after this occasion with a new date. Fed up i called them, which wasn't easy to get through and waited a long time. I was assured that the delivery would definitely be fulfilled on the third date given. Over a week after I ordered. I asked what the issue was. The advisor explained that the item was out of stock and they were waiting for more. I was a bit annoyed with this that I had been misled at the point of purchase. I asked for the £10 store credit to be refunded to my card. I was told this would be done but it was not. Overall, good company. Professional and good customer service. I would overlook the minor issues and buy from them again. I got what I wanted.”

“They arrranged a delivery for Tuesday 7/7/26 and on Thursday 2/7 at 6:30 I had an email saying the deivery was Friday 3/7 between 12 and 3pm. This was very inconveinient as my wife had a Hospital Appointment and it was not possible to change this without a charge.”

“I paid for the removal of an appliance. The delivered the new one well before they said they would (6am!) and consequently the appliance destined for removal was now ready. The company was clearly to blame for this and they refused to pick up the appliance. Also the customer service person was pretty unfriendly. Avoid this company!”

“Appliance Direct have been brilliant from the get go! I had a few issues initially with the product not being in stock and they immediately got it sorted. There were then issues with DPD delivering the product (nothing to do with Appliance Direct) and AD were, again, so helpful in getting it sorted. Really pleased with the level of customer service they provided throughout - I would definitely recommend them.”

“Still waiting to receive the air con I ordered, had a text from XL Logestics to say it would be delivered yesterday, then another an hour after it was due to be delivered to say" Sorry the aircon has been sent to the wrong delivery depot ", I have not heard anything since.”

“I purchased a washing machine a few days ago, good website, washer is perfect. The delivery company Arrow XL were worse than useless. I didn’t receive an email the night before my delivery informing me of my updated time slot as was indicated in my receipt email. The courier company was calling my secondary number (which I do not have access to anymore) rather than my primary number. I spent all day on the Arrow XL website attempting to contact someone on their web chat and their telephone number and had no luck in contacting anyone to inform them to use my primary mobile number. The delivery eventually came some time after 19:00 after I’d had to wait at home since 07:00. Arrow XL is looking to be the new Evri.”

“Really delighted with the service from this company. This was our first order with them. Delivery arrived on an AM Next day delivery for a very reasonable cost. No delays or problems. We were kept informed with tracking updates which were very accurate and the cooker hood which we ordered exceeded our expectations. Great item at a great price. Faultless service and would definitely use them again. Highly recommended!”

“Really good communication, called within half an hour of placing the order to double check everything and advise on the delivery process. We received a timeslot first thing and several calls on the day of delivery from both the office and the driver as we are rural and they wanted to double check everything before attempting delivery. And once delivery was made we then received another call from the office within about 15 minutes to check everything was ok.”
