“Excellent service by Appliances Direct, but poor delivery service by ArrowXL. Appliances Direct urgently need to sort out the delivery service”

“Basic delivery of fridge-freezer was fine, and as arranged. However the driver refused to take away my old appliance since it was not fully defrosted. I have been refunded the amount I'd paid for disposal but, if you are offering a disposal service, it does not seem unreasonable to expect you to be able to cope with such situations, eg have a large plastic bag in the van.”

“Easy to order . My only issue is that they offer free delivery, but that meant a long wait, so I had to pay delivery to get it sooner. Delivery guy was friendly and helpful though”

“It came a week later. The package is left a floor upstairs and it was a great pain to take it down. I live myself and I had to wait others to help me but still it was so hard as it is so heavy. I called the delivery number and they were being nonsense, didnt help me at all. Plus the package itself was problematic. I opened the package and the tumble dryer was dirty”

“Appliances Direct were really good. No problem there and the dehumidifier is excellent. However, it was delivered by DPD. Absolute cowboy set up with Delivery Drivers that do not give a flying pig (the word pig can be changed into a more suitable one, but you wouldn't publish this review.) I was lucky on this occasion, I was at home looking out the window for him. The reason for my review....previous deliveries from other outlets have used DPD and my parcels have just been dumped at the front door for anyone to help themselves to, and that's even supplying them with a safe alternative place to leave it. CHANGE COURIER COMPANY.”

“Guys we’re very helpful fitting the machine but clearly the company should review how the treat personnel and a charge customers fairly for installation. GBP 40,- is not realistically covering time and training of personnel. Putting the burden on staff to complete full installation within 20 minutes and not pay the overtime is pretty bad.”

“After buying a wine cooler in July 2025, it became faulty. Contacted Appliance Direct and within a week the replacement had been delivered and the faulty one connected. Incredible customer service.”

“Helpful information at the beginning. They kept me informed about the delivery date (which I could choose), and the night before I was given a 2 hour time slot which was then trackable on the day, and updated every few minutes. The delivery guys were very quick and efficient.”
