I ordered a TV stand on July 20th and paid £30 for premium Saturday delivery. It was supposed to be delivered on June 25th Saturday. A few days later I contacted to company to inform that the intercom was broken so if it was possible to let the delivery guy call me when they arrive. They told me to contact the courier myself! I did contact the courier (Arrow XL, which is also a horrible company). They told me that my item wasn't going to be delivered on Saturday anyway! So I contacted AppliancesDirect again and agreed for delivery on the following Saturday which is August 1st. The next day I got a message from ArrowXL telling me that my item was going to be delivered on July 27th, Monday. I cancelled it and they confirmed the cancellation but on Monday afternoon the driver called me they were going to be at my flat in an hour! Since obviously they weren'y honoring their Saturday delivery promise even though I paid extra for it I decided to cancel my order. On August 4th I received an email that the receive the item back and would issue a refund in 48 hours. It's been 10 days and still no refund. Whenever I contact the customer service they always respond they "confirm they are looking into this". No real answers, just ambiguous words to stall. After 10 days I still couldn't get my money back. Terrible customer service, terrible website and terrible delivery. I'm definitely not shopping this dodgy company ever again.
