We ordered a range cooker which Appliances Direct arranged for delivery yesterday after pestering us to bring forward our due delivery date. The 2 delivery men would not deliver this 26 stone item into the house, never mind into the kitchen (despite the orders on the AD email and website). They expected us (a 65 year old man and his 8 stone wife) to get it into the house ourselves. Not onyl that, but the product was poorly packaged and therefore damaged when we eventually got to look at it. Thank God we took photos of the whole sorry episode. We have asked for collection and a refund but have waited in all day for the collection which AD said was arranged and which has not happened. When we query the collection by e-message (no contact number on the email) no one responds. Their so called Customer Support goes home at 5pm so we are at a loss. The company is diabolical - DO NOT order from them.
