Absolute Cowboys. I ordered a washer/dryer and a dishwasher from Appliances Direct. I had a text the day before the delivery was due with a time slot. But the time slot came and went with no sign of the delivery. I tracked the order using the link they had sent me which stated that my delivery was still on the way. I waited the rest of the day but still no delivery. When I called Appliances Direct to enquire where my delivery was they said my delivery had been cancelled due to a driver having called in sick. I can't believe no one contacted me to inform me and why it was still showing on the tracking information as out for delivery. A second delivery date was set and once again I waited in for it to arrive but once again no sign of my delivery.... I called Appliances Direct to be told my delivery had once again be cancelled. And once again no one had bothered to inform me of this. I had to call them when it didn't arrive. A third date for delivery was arranged. I retrieved a text the morning my appliances were due to arrive saying the delivery had been cancelled. When I called Appliances Direct they said they couldn't locate my appliances and the dishwasher was now out of stock!! I have had no choice but to cancel the order and get a refund. My kitchen fitter finishes next week and I won't be able to get a dishwasher in time for him to fit it. I am appalled at the total lack of communication and customer care. How can three separate deliveries be cancelled and on two of the occasions I was not even made aware the delivery was not coming. By the end it was clear excuses were being made and my appliances were never going to be delivered. I'm saddened and disappointed.
