Please believe me! Don't go near them they are basically theives! Please, please, please trust me when I tell you never ever ever to use Appliances Direct! They are OK when the product is OK and you don't need any support but after that you have had it! We bought a £450 air conditioner from them, after 3 weeks it packed up. It took about 10 phone calls and hours of hold music to finally get them to pick it up and they wanted to charge us £40 for the privilege. They said they cannot do a refund they will try and repair it first and it could take 30 days! And if they can't repair it they will send us a new one! Meanwhile we are now nearly 2 months later and heard nothing! We have phoned 2 times and waited for 15 minutes with no answer! We have contacted them by email with no reply! Basically they are thieves! They sell you junk for £450 then charge you to take it away again and wont give you a refund. meanwhile we have just been boiling in our house! I know this sounds unbelievable but it is 100% true! I warn you please don't go anywhere near this company!
