This company is cheap for a reason (not the staffs fault as I guess its the company's processes are not adequate when it comes to resolving issues)
I ordered a dehumidifier and they sent the wrong item but in a correct box . I understand mistakes happen but it what's done to rectify issues that shows a company's true colours. When calling their non-chargeable number It takes ages for someone to answer the phone or are held in a queue till you give up. When you eventually get through you are passed around and have to queue again. Emails take about 4-6 hours to get a reply (some mails don't get a reply).
I eventually booked a returns collection date but the courier was sent to wrong address despite my address confirmation email and telephone call. Now I have to go through the whole process again and cant get through at present, its been nearly a week since delivery and I am no further forward in sending the item back for an eventual replacement (or maybe a refund)
I will see how things go 2nd time round but this my 1st experience with Appliances direct and its the worst online sales process I have encountered. I must stress that staff are polite and friendly but don't want to own a problem but pass on to a case manager who I guess is too busy to respond to my mails so I have to try and call for answers.
